I’m available for one-to-one, group, and online tutoring in both the history of art and history.

Whether you’re working towards an official qualification, or are simply wanting to learn more about a fascinating subject, tutoring can be a great way of responding to your individual aims and needs.

As you can tell from this blog, I cover a huge range of movements and periods, as well as being able to offer specific help in improving essay writing and exam techniques.

Sessions can be on a one-off or regular basis, so if you’re just looking to brush up on a particular area, or have more long-term goals, I can help you achieve your aims.

Having studied at the University of Oxford for my undergraduate degree, where I was awarded both the Reaktion Book Prize and the Gibb’s Prize for Outstanding Achievement, I have gone on to study at the University of Cambridge, taking an MPhil in the History of Art.  With experience in both group and individual teaching, I am keen to respond to and work with the individual needs of each of my students, and help them to get the most out of a truly rewarding subject.

So if you’re looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable tutor, with experience in some of the greatest educational environments the world has to offer, don’t hesitate to get in touch with me at mshelenmccombie@gmail.com.

Special discounts are offered on your first booking, as well as when booking blocks of multiple sessions.
